Overview Depending on the manufacturer of your phone, smartLookup for Plaxo must be downloaded and installed in a very specific way. Below, we will discuss most typical options, and also indicate which option works for which types of phones. Please note that we can not cover all models of mobile phones. Download 'Over The Air' "Over The Air" or OTA method delivers programs directly to your mobile phone, so you do not need to have a computer. However, you have to have Data Wireless plan to be able to use OTA and smartLookup for Plaxo. Please check with your wireless provider regarding availability and cost of data plans. Do not assume you have it and it is free - it is typically not. Although different from one phone model to the other, typical OTA process requires the following steps: Launch built-in mobile web browser Navigate to http://get.smart4smart.com  or  http://wap.smart4smart.com Select your mobile phone manufacturer Download and install appropriate smartLookup version

Download via Computer One of the ways to get smartLookup for Plaxo is to download it to your Laptop or PC. Please use the attached link to navigate to the download page, select manufacturer of your phone, and save the following two files to your Desktop or a folder of your choice (e.g. C:\temp). File #1: smartLookup<PhoneModel>.JAD - is a java descriptor file File #2: smartLookup<PhoneModel>.JAR - is the actual Java program In order to install the files, you will need to use special software, which comes with your phone, to move both files from your Laptop or PC to the phone itself. Although different from one phone model to the other, typical process requires the following steps: Connect your phone to your computer (via cable, Infra-red or Bluetooth connection) Launch phone management software Transfer Java program from your computer to a mobile phone Once installed, smartLookup is available in the Applications or Games section of your phone.
