Start smartLookup application A startup logo is displayed on the screen. Press [OK] or wait for 5 seconds - the program will continue. If no updates are pending, you will be switched to Plaxo folder selection screen   NOTE: "Regular use" means the initial setup and slow synch was performed without errors.     Select Plaxo Folder Select desired Plaxo folder from the drop down list. If desired folder is already a default choice, just press [OK] button - no need to use the drop down list.     Main contact selection screen overview Let go over the main contact screen of smartLookup. Contact: a drop down list with up to 20 contacts matching your selection criteria in the Search box. Search box: a text field, used to restrict list of contacts based on the Search option. Search option:  a drop down list of search options. NOTE: Search is always performed within Display As field. You can select 'Begins with', 'Contains' or 'Ends with' search option. Usually typing in 2-3 characters reduces selection to under 10 items.     Typical Search scenario   Initially a full list of up to 20 contacts is displayed.      Select Search option 'Contains' is the most versatile search option.    Type in the Search Criteria, then view the restricted list Type in search criteria (e.g. 'Two') View the restricted list    View Plaxo Contact card Blank fields are not displayed.    Make a phone call directly from smartLookup 'Dial' command appears as you select a phone number field   Press 'Exit', then 'Folders' and then 'Main menu' to go back to Main menu
