Start smartLookup application. A startup logo is displayed on the screen. Press [OK] or wait for 5 seconds - the program will continue.    Acknowledge Airtime Alert smartLookup is a web-enabled application and therefore requires wireless data connection to function. Depending on your wireless carrier, and your account, you may not have data connection capabilities, mey need to enable them with your provider or will be charged separately from yout phone bill for data traffic. Please confirm with your wireless provider, what kind of data plan you have. On this screen, please acknowledge that data connection is required by pressing [OK]    Set up your login details   In order to be able to use smartLookup, you have to setup your login profile. smartLookuphas to have your login information in order to login to your Plaxo account and echange information. Plaxo Login ID: the email address or AIM screen name, which you use to login to Plaxo account . Plaxo ID Type: a choice of Email address or AOL screen name, clarifying what kind of Plaxo Login ID you use. Plaxo Password: your Plaxo Account password. NOTE: smartLookup PIN is randomly assigned to you by smartLookup gateway. Please leave smartLookup PIN field blank and press [OK]. As of version 1.1.8 PIN is no longer required.    Confirm Airtime   At this point you need to confirm that it is OK to use Airtime. This is a request from the mobile phone subsystem seeking confirmation of your request to go online.      Logging in to Plaxo account   Please wait while smartLookup logs into your plaxo account.    Select Plaxo folders to be synchronized  Please select Plaxo folders you would like to keep in sync with your mobile phone, and press [OK]. NOTE: You can always select and deselect folders later. However, please remember that a full synchronization is required every time you select a new folder.    Perform initial full or 'Slow' Synchronization  After you chose your Plaxo folders, smartLookup proposes a Slow sync of all contacts. Make sure you have strong wireless signal, and press [OK] NOTE: Depending on the number of contacts you have in your folders, and wireless connection speed, initial full synchronization may take from 5 to 20 minutes. Please do not close your flip phone or press any buttons on your phone during this operation, as it will cancel the synchronization and quit the application.    Monitor synchronization progress  smartLookup will keep you updated on the progress by displaying the current operation and add/replace/delete statistics.  Once synchronization is done, application returns to the Main Menu. At this point, your Plaxo folders have been copied to your phone memory, and are ready to be viewed.    Update other settings  One last step of the smartLookup initial setup is to update program settings.      Review smartLookup settings  Mobile Gateway: URL to smartLookup webservice. Only change if advised to do so by smart4smart.com customer support.   Encryption: currently only Built-in/HTTP encryption is supported. HTTPS will be supported in later versions of the software.   Security: these two settings control whether your Plaxo password is stored in your phone memory, and how it is displayed when you type it in. Uncheck both boxes for maximum security. Check both boxes for maximum convenience.   Display name as: controls how your Display As field is constructed, and, subsequently, how your contact list is sorted - by Last of First name.   Synchronize: setting controls which group of Pplaxo fields will be synchronized with mobile device. You can choose between phone numbers, addresses, and Emails/URLs. NOTE: Changes to this setting will require slow synchronization.   Please keep settings for Inet and Zip buffers as is, and change only if advised to do so by smart4smart.com customer support.
