Start smartLookup application A startup logo is displayed on the screen. Press [OK] or wait for 5 seconds - the program will continue. If periodic updates are pending, you will be switched to the Main menu screen.   NOTE: smartLookup is configured for a weekly update schedule.    Confirm Airtime Press [YES] to confirm airtime    Monitor update progress smartLookup downloads the latest gateway configuration. (This operation usually takes about 2-5 seconds.)       Requesting fast update   All folders are updated during Fast or Slow sync procedures. (In our example, folder 'Contacts' will not have any updates).      Processing changes  Typical updates include: Additions of new contacts Changes to existing contacts Deletions of existing contacts smartLookup displays the current update statistics during 'Fast' or 'Slow' sync operations. (Updates typically take from half a second to up to one second per contact).    Successful update In case of a successful update, you are transferred to Main menu IMPORTANT NOTE: Please DO NOT switch off the phone or close the flip. This will cancel the update, and will require 'Slow' synchronization next time.    Slow synchronization  All contacts are re-downloaded and re-created during Slow synchronization. It may be necessary in the following situations:  User requests Slow sync explicitly A new Plaxo folder is added to the synchronization list Settings are updates which require Slow sync An error occured which require subsequent Slow sync Plaxo server requests a Slow sync Slow sync is a slow operation. Depending on number of plaxo contacts, data connection speed and phone model, it may take from 5 to 20 minutes to complete.
